2010 Goaltimate Fall League
Cost $25 per person
FIELD SITES: All Fall League games take place at Evans Field.
TIMES AND GAME FORMAT: Games begin at 7:30 pm and play continues until one team reaches 5 points - Don't worry, Evans Field is fully lighted. All contests are a 'Best of 3' series, where the team that wins 2 of 3 games will be awarded a victory. All players are advised to get there by 7:00 pm to warm-up and talk with their captains. Play begins promptly at 7:30 pm.
GOALTIMATE FALL LEAGUE CHAMPION: The Fall League regular season will consist of 7 weeks, beginning thursday, October 1st through thursday, November 12th. The standings after the 7 week regular season will determine the seedings for the Playoffs, which take place on Thursday, November 19th. The playoffs will be a 'Bracket' style tournament, with the winner being crowned Fall League Champion.
PLAYOFFS/TOURNAMENT: The Playoffs/Tournament will take place on Thursday, November 19th. ALL teams will be playing in the playoffs. Seedings for the playoffs will be determined by the standings from the Regular Season. The playoffs are set up to be a 'Bracket' format tournament - the winner of the tournament is the winner of the Goaltimate Fall League.
POST-GAME PARTIES: Be sure to come to our post-game parties at our sponsoring bars. We will be sponsored by Rocco's Tavern and 45 Tchoup for the Fall League, both of which are close by Evans Field. Please check the schedule to see which bar the party is at. This is a great opportunity to relive the glory (or heartbreak) of the evening's games as well as a chance to get to know your teammates. In keeping with the tradition of years past, a $40 of draft beer (in pitchers) is free to league members.
Important Note: The post-game party starts after the evenings final games. To ensure that everyone gets a fair shot at the free alcohol, the party doesn't start until the league commish arrives.
